DR. ROBERT BELL

Robert H. Bell serves as Assistant Superintendent/Senior Vice President at Pasadena City College, where he oversees noncredit, community education, off campus programs and operations, and community advancement. Additionally, he oversees the Adult Education Block Grant (AEBG) and the growth of adult education. He has also served as Senior Vice President, Academic and Student Affairs and Vice President, Student and Learning Services at the college.
Prior to coming to Pasadena City College, he served as the Senior Vice President for the Louisiana Community and Technical College System, Vice President of Student Services at Chaffey College in Rancho Cucamonga, California and Vice President of Student Services at South Puget Sound Community College in Olympia, Washington. He has previously held leadership positions in student services at Cerritos College, The University of Southern California, Harvey Mudd College and UCLA.
Dr. Bell holds a B.A. and M.A. from the University of Redlands, Redlands, California, and an Ed.D. in Educational Administration and Counseling Psychology from the University of the Pacific, Stockton, California. Dr. Bell has completed numerous workshops on leadership and administration, including the Harvard University Program for Leadership Development Program.
Dr. Bell is active in the community and works closely with local school districts, community groups and municipalities. He lives in Pasadena with his wife Victoria and two sons.
