Struggling to keep audience attention when trying to grow a creative page

Lately it feels like my posts don’t hold people’s attention the way they used to, even though I’m putting more effort into ideas, visuals, and consistency. I run a small creative page where I share sketches and short process videos, and sometimes I get a burst of new viewers, but then it suddenly quiets down again. It makes me wonder what actually influences audience retention besides pure content quality. Maybe I’m missing some small detail like timing, interaction patterns, or something else that experienced creators already know. Has anyone dealt with this weird wave-like engagement and figured out how to stay motivated while the numbers keep jumping around?

From what I’ve seen, attention patterns really change depending on how quickly people interact with your posts, so sometimes even strong content doesn’t perform well if it doesn’t get traction early on. When I tried to figure this out, I looked for ways to experiment with initial engagement and came across the best site to buy instagram followers cheap just to see how early boosts affect reach. It wasn’t meant as a long-term fix, but it helped me understand how the platform reacts when a post gets a bit more activity in the first minutes. Mixing that with genuine conversations in comments and posting at times when my audience seemed more active made the whole process feel less random.
